Eyes
An organ that I
find surprising is the human eye because it is a very complex and necessary
organ for our lives. The eye is obviously in view of anyone since it is located
on our face.
The eyeball measures
about 25 mm in diameter and weighs about 7.5 grams, this organ is very
important, because to move in the space around us we depend on the eye, with
just a glance, a fraction of a second, the eyes together with the brain, indicate
the size, shape, color and texture of an object. They tell us how close it is
and if it is moving.
Every
day, the eyes transmit messages that help us understand the world around us.
There are many diseases that can affect the eyes,
such as; Astigmatism, Myopia, Hyperopia, Cataracts, Presbyopia, Detachment of
the retina, Glaucoma, Conjunctivitis, Some of these diseases can be avoided and
others can be avoided.
To take
care of our eyes, we must leave some habits and adopt some, for example, stop
smoking, wear sunglasses, illuminate the objects we see and consume a diet with
the presence of vitamins (A, C, E) and antioxidants.
so small and so important
